A teen room is not the same as a kid room. When kids are growing up, they would need more privacy and personal space. Their taste may have had changed, so the room design will have to be edit too.
Their room would have less toys but books, decorations and clothes (or make-up). They would need more cabinets/ shelves/ drawers for storage and a work space for school- homework.

Wall cabinet is always a good option to have as it can be built from floor to ceiling to storage more stuffs.

A personal unique style can be seen from a teen’s room design by the design (such as colour) , decorations and accessories.
