The following terms and conditions for payment and delivery shall apply to all orders placed on the Site. Placing an order on the Site means that the customer fully understands the terms & conditions, and agrees to abide by them at all times.
Payment We accept payments by credit cards. By placing an order using credit card and online payment methods, you confirm that the credit card used belongs to you or that you have been authorised by the owner to use it.
In placing an order with us, you authorise Chevalier to process a charge or charges on your credit card in the amount of the total purchase price of your order.
If your card issuer refuses to authorise payment to Chevalier, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
Order Once you have entered your personal and payment details and placed your order, we will contact you as soon as possible to confirm the acceptance of your order and delivery fee and time.
All orders are subject to stock availability and confirmation of the order price. We reserve our right not to accept an order if the product you ordered is out of stock.
Delivery You will be given an indication of the estimated delivery time when we contact you after you have placed your order. We will endeavour to meet these estimates but cannot guarantee that such estimates must be met.
Under normal circumstances, we provide free delivery. However, there may be circumstances that require additional payment by you. For example, if your address is accessible only by staircase.
We will require acknowledgment of receipt from you. By signing the acknowledgment, you accept the responsibility for the products ordered from that moment on. If the recipient is not the original purchaser, then you accept that the signature on the acknowledgment as an evidence of delivery and fulfillment of your order by Chevalier. You also accept the transfer of responsibility from the moment of signing of the acknowledgement by the recipient.
Exchanges We only exchange goods if they are defective. Where you consider that a product is defective, you should promptly send an email to cbs_manhattankitchenclub@chevalier.com or call (852) 2111 4715 with details of the product and the defect. You can send the item you consider defective to: 3/F, Chevalier Engineering Service Centre, 21 Sheung Yuet Road, Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong. Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via e-mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to an exchange as a result of the defect. If you are eligible, we will send you a replacement product.
Refunds
We do not accept refunds.
Disclaimer
You agree that your use of our services is at your own risk, and that they are being provided to you on an "as-is" basis. Accordingly, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all express or implied warranties, terms and conditions including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In addition, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we (including our parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and our and their officers, directors, agents and employees) are not liable for any damages or losses (including, but not limited to, loss of profit or other intangible losses or any special, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages) resulting directly or indirectly from:
- your use of the Site and our services;
- your use of the products purchased on the Site;
- delays, errors, or inaccuracies in our Services;
- viruses or other malicious software obtained by accessing, or linking to, the Site;
- damage to your hardware device from the use of any our services; and
- suspension or other action taken with respect to your account.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability to you or to any third party arising from the purchase of product(s) on the Site is limited to the price of the product(s). The only exception to this is that we do not limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
