A Treehouse Restaurant in Okinawa, Japan has leaded our knowledge of a traditional ‘tree house’ to another level. This restaurant offers ‘local grown and organic harvested foods fresh from farm’ to match its design. Although the structure base is not an actual banyan tree, the architectural design is mimicking the plant-life in a larger-than-life replica that soar 20 feet high and presents the destination in an eye-catching manner. Customers can either climb the winding staircase at the back or use the elevator that shoots up through the foundation’s tree trunk.

Many people would say this is an ‘upside down house’ when looking at it. However, this is "The World Stands on its Head" in Germany. Unlike other ‘special/ rare design’ building, the creators said they just built it for ‘no reason’. What make this “The World Stands on its Head” house more special is that- not just the exterior is upside down but every room every item in this house is upside down.

St Louis City Museum’s in Missouri, USA unlike a normal museum, it is for all ages and consists largely of repurposed architectural and industrial objects. One of the most famous attractions is the Enchanted Caves and Shoes Shafts that run through the centre of the Museum- all the way to 10th floor. In which guests will find an elaborate cave system hand-sculpted and from every direction, a different creature is staring back. In 2008 a second shoe slide was opened and the starts at the roof and goes down to the caves’ entrance. It is not just a museum, it is a place where you could stay and enjoy for a day.

Nord Lb Building in Hannover, Germany is the head office of the Norddeutsche Landes bank, built to minimize energy use for cooling, heating and lighting. This building contains shops, restaurants and reflecting pools on the bottom of the floor. Connecting hallways are tubes of glass, the restaurant for the staff of the bank has a butterfly wings shapes roof and a 20 meter high tower that changes colours with the changing position of the sun.
